Memorial Site Preservation
Honoring our First Responders
Holding a annual chili dinner for the Canby Fire and Aurora Fire Departments. We also participate in 9/11 Ceremonies at both the Canby Fire and Aurora Fire Departments.
Educating the Public
Organizing insightful tours to educate the public about the Vietnam Era and its veterans. We also provide scholarships through our VFW Voice of Democracy (VOD) and Patriots Pen programs.
Honoring our Veterans and Active/Reserve Military
Organizing annual IWO JIMA Flag Raising, National Vietnam Veterans Recognion Day, and Veterans Day events. We have also adopted a National Guard Unit and support a couple of their annual events.
Raising Funds for Veterans Relief
Supporting veterans through Fort Kennedy, the Portland VA Hospital, VFW National Veterans Home, and our Veterans Relief Fund.
Supporting our Community
Participating in community events including the Police Bike Rodeo, Lunchn' Wit Da Law, VFW Day of Service, and theĀ Canby Day 4th July Celebration.
