Operation Iraqi Freedom Ceremony - August 31, 2026

We held a ceremony to mark the official end of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Commander Bill Vermillion opened with a heartfelt prayer, followed by remarks from Adjutant Amber Carson. Amber shared her experiences in Iraq, including a powerful account of participating in a convoy along the most dangerous highway in the country. Her story offered a vivid reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and resilience shown by all who served.
